All are welcome to the upcoming Art Exhibition called 'The Drawing Room Collection'. Four software proffessionals of Bangalore city display a kaleidoscope of Indian landscape and figurative paintings along with their mentor artist usha shantharam.

The exhibition is scheduled to start on 16th May 2011 and go through a period of 10 days, ending 25th May2011. The venue if the exhibition is - CHITRA KALA PARISHATH - Kumara krupa Road (next to Hotel lalit Ashok) Bangalore 560001. The timings are daily 10am to 7pm.

There is just one more day for the 'self portrait' contest to end. So many interesting self portraits have been submitted by artists expressing themselves in various medias, and in many novel ways.

As more people vote, it will be interesting to see, who will be the winner. All FAA mambers can vote for at least 2 artists each.

I personally went through all the hundred and odd submissions, and got to know each one of them through their artworks. I learnt that many of them had the ability to express themselve so bravely, comically, beautifully, satirically, representatively, emotionally and many many more ...allys.

So go ahead and explore this contest, and don't forget to vote for the most innovative artist who has used his/her craft as well as innovative idea for a 'Self Portrait'.
